ABSTRACT

Most organizations lack policy formulation for effective organizational performance is not usually carried out properly due to lack of appreciation and knowledge of the relevance of policy making and implementation on organizational growth. Descriptive research design was used in carrying out this research work and the Pearson correlation and T-test analysis was used to analyse the data. The specific objectives of the study were: to establish the prevalence of policy formulation as a tool for organizational performance,to determine the challenges facing policy formulation for organizational growth and to assess the effects of policy formulation on organizational performance.
